Stadswandeling: “The Haagdijk – Old Town Road”

Hold your head up high… and view the signs and signboards of this gateway to the old town of Breda. Learn more about the symbols that once represented the traditional traders, craftsmen and artisans who used to live here.

Since the year 2000 the fronts of the houses in this traditionally craftsmen area have been decorated with 29 different signs and signboards. Each sign represents its own interesting and often surprising story. We will share a few of those stories with you on this tour. You will also spend some time in a long-established Breda pub that typically fits the profile of this area.
